TWO MEETING LOCATIONS. CHOOSE THE ONE CLOSEST OR THAT IS MOST PREFERABLE TO YOU!
The Native Plant Society has put on a series of workshops on making seed balls / seed bombs as an effort to educate on Native Plants, as well as a restoration effort to increase Native Seed populations in the Santa Fe area. Event starts at 9:30 AM.
Alto Park (1121 Alto St.): Meet at the basketball court. There will be opportunities for walkers to cover the river trail between St. Francis Drive and Frenchies field. Bikers will follow along the Acequia Trail, Franklin Miles park, Herb Martinez Park, and the Arroyo Chamiso Trail.
Swan Park: From Cerillos you will go west on Jaguar Dr. and follow it to the end. You will land in the park area. Look for a beautiful umbrella, this is where we will meet! We will follow the area around the park and up the Arroyo Chamiso Trail.
BIKERS: It is best if you have some sort of basket on the front of your bike, or a messenger back that you can hang around your shoulder and easily reach into.
