Leader Tom Stewart.
Holy Ghost trail is one of the easier walks into a New Mexico wilderness area, featuring tall conifers, lush streamside vegetation, and the possibility of viewing the endangered holy ghost ipomopsis (Ipomopsis sancti-spiritus) in flower. The hike does become increasingly challenging farther along, and distance will be decided by participants.
Advance sign-up is required — contact the leader, firstname.lastname@example.org, and learn important details. Limited to 18 participants. Hike begins at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, and arriving early on Friday for overnight camping is recommended.
