Las Cruces June Meeting: “The Tools for Native Plant Identification: the ultimate detective work!”

The Las Cruces chapter June meeting will be on using iNaturalist and other tools for native plant identification, presented by Daniella Barraza, Sara Fuentes, and David Lee Anderson. This meeting will be in the NMSU Herbarium.

The NMSU Herbarium is located in the Biology Annexon the main NMSU campus on Williams St. just north of the intersection of Williams & Stewart. It shares a parking lot with the Astronomy Building. You may park for free in any of the nearby lots, or along curbs on either side of Williams. Plenty of free parking will be available. Please be there before 7 p.m. Event will end by 8:30 p.m.

Meetings are fourth Wednesdays (unless otherwise noted) at 7 PM, in the NMSU Herbarium, or in the conference room of the Social Center at the University Terrace Good Samaritan Village, 3011 Buena Vida Circle, Las Cruces. Programs are free, unless we are going to a fee area, and non-members are always welcome. Children must be accompanied by their parents. Contact: Carolyn Gressitt, 575/523-8413.
