Living with Native Plants

Michael Eustacio Chavez, a native New Mexican, whose ancestry dates to 1600, tells about how native plants were used when he was growing up on what is now Sevilleta National Wildlife Refuge. Some plants were medicinal and/or edible while others were used for tool making and many other uses.
