Join the Chapter for a refreshing, cool
plant walk among the pines and along
Iron Creek in Gila National Forest. If you
would like to carpool, meet at
Dona Ana Post Office
5480 Ledesma Dr, Doña Ana, NM 88032
at 9:00 am.
We’ll drive about an hour to
Hillsboro, NM
for an optional brunch at the
General Store Cafe
10697 NM-152, Hillsboro, NM 88042
(or get to-orders if they are busy),
or you can meet the group at the
Cafe at 10:00 am.
After eating, we’ll drive about 45
minutes to Iron Creek to explore.
Generally, there is no cell service in the
Gilas.
We will plan to leave around 2:00 to get
back to the Dona Ana Post Office
between 3:30 and 4:00
