La Cueva Trailhead
2.1 miles round trip. 450′ elevation
gain, easy. Recent rains have
triggered the germination of many
seedlings along the trail. Ann
overflowing waterfall at trail’s end is
likely as this monsoon season
progresses. Notable plants: Mexican
buckeye, hackberries, catclaw
mimosa, white thorn acacia, morning
glories. Will return to parking area by
10:30 am.
