The Taos chapter is hosting a field trip to the Valle Vidal on July 21. Meet at KTAO at 8 AM for carpooling.
This will be a full-day hike/wander through the Valle Vidal. It will take us well over an hour to get into the Valle. Bring lunch, water, and wear appropriate hiking gear. There are no actual trails in the Valle; we’ll just be wandering roadsides and meadows beside streams, focusing on riparian flora, led by Gayle Tyree, BLM Botanical technician.
