“Rare Plant Management in New Mexico”

Zoe Davidson has been the BLM-NM State Botanist since 2015.  Prior to that she worked in the Taos Field Office and the White River Field Office (Meeker, CO).  As the state botanist Zoe manages the Botany, Plant Conservation and Restoration, Assessment, Inventory and Monitoring, and Mitigation Programs.  Zoe received her B.S. and M.S. from Colorado State University in Restoration Ecology, with an emphasis in botany.

Ella Samuel works for the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) State Botanist, Zoe Davidson, and works as a contractor for the Institute for Applied Ecology Southwest Program. She is the Field Operations Manager for the Southwest Seed Partnership, the coordinator for the New Mexico Seeds of Success program, the project lead for the New Mexico Nature in Prisons Project. Ella received her B.A. in Human Ecology, with an emphasis on botany and conservation biology, from College of the Atlantic (2016).
