Enjoy a guided tour of the NMSU Herbarium, led by director Sara Fuentes-Soriano, Ph.D, and curator Zachary Rogers, M.S.. Tours can be 45 minutes to an hour, and might also include some kind of an activity – e.g. a plant walk and talk around a couple small gardens on campus. Afterward, if you’d like to socialize more, the group will generally find a lunch spot near the campus.
All members are welcome, and we expect to see our friends from the Otero (Alamogordo) Chapter in addition to our Las Cruces chapter. It will be great opportunity to mix and mingle with our friends from across the Tularosa Basin.
Otero carpooling directions: Meet just inside the parking lot of the Hooser Ballfield located off S. Walker Ave. at 8 a.m. to carpool to Las Cruces.
