Saturday, June 18th at 8 A.M. – Whitfield Wildlife Conservation Area with Ted Hodoba

Easy, ca.2 miles: perimeter loop with some side detours on flat former pastures; we will observe the effects and recovery of vegetation from wildfire at the site. The site also features a pond that attracts birds and a cactus garden.

Bring sunscreen, water and lunch. Meet to carpool at the southwest corner of Savers parking lot (Carlisle and Menaul, behind Mattress Firm) at 8 AM.

PLEASE NOTE: Meeting times and places for field trips vary – plan ahead to be prompt.
