We will try using the book “The Sunflower Family,” so bring it if you have a copy.
Finally, if you have access to a copy of Kelly Allred’s “Flora Neomexicana III: An Illustrated Identification Manual, Part 2, Dicotyledons” please bring it along. We will try running one or two Asteraceae species through a technical key.
Also, bring your lunch if you wish and hang around to ask questions and just chat; drinks will be provided.
This workshop is supplementary to the workshop on Wednesday, September 13 in the NMSU Herbarium.
