Join us for an informal field trip at the base of the Santa Fe ski basin. Miriam Vaughn and Sylvan Kaufman will be leading the trip. This will be an easy trip with plenty of time to work on your plant ID skills. Bring your id apps and field guides!
To carpool, meet at 9 a.m. at the Ft. Marcy Recreation Area parking lot on Murales Rd. (the upper parking area where Zozobra is burned above the baseball field). If you’ll be driving independently, we’ll meet at about 9:45 a.m. at the entrance to Ski Santa Fe.
Please RSVP to santafe [at] npsnm [dot] org and let me know if you will be joining us at Ft. Marcy or at the Ski Basin. I’ll send out a plant list from past trips to those who RSVP. I expect we will head back down the mountain around 12:30.
