OTERO CHAPTER WORKSHOP

Unitarian Universalist Church | 1010 E 16th ST. Alamagordo, NM 88310

Saturday | November 17 | 4-6p

Thank you to the Unitarian Universalist Church for graciously hosting the workshop. We would like to extend the offer of free participation in this workshop for all Unitarian Church members.

We are looking forward to joining you for this workshop! Come learn about plants in our area, and take a home a little piece of the workshop!

This workshop will explore the facets of bio-regionalism as well as some of the common, and some not so common plants that are bio-regionally available from the high mountains to low desert in New Mexico (both native and non-native).

We will look at how they can be incorporated into our daily lives through food and medicine, touching on some specific herbs that can generally be used to aid us in many of the common ailments we experience, as we make our own herbal remedy together.
Please note that the Native Plant Society of New Mexico does not directly share the views of this workshop, and and information provided is purely informational as we are not doctors and are unable to diagnose or prescribe!
