Pollinator Powwow

Anyone interested in pollinators and ecological conservation are invited to the Texas Pollinator Pow Wow on April 22-24, 2016 at the Museum of Texas Tech, Texas Tech University, Lubbock, Texas. Sunday the 24th will be a field trip to Tahoka Lake, a never-plowed shortgrass prairie and playa lake, and the trip will be led by teams of biologists, botanists and entomologists.  There are also two native bee ID and two milkweed propagation workshops offered in the evenings (there’s an extra charge for the workshops, and they are limited to 35).  Cost is $75 for both days (the field trip is free is you are registered with the conference), and includes buffet lunch and light morning snacks.
